This high school group for boys and youth who identify with male
development is run by upperclassmen with the goal of mentoring freshmen
and sophomores in a fun and relaxing environment. By watching sports,
playing cards, chipping in for pizza, and getting to know one another,
SLOD offers opportunities for high school teens to forge social and emotional
connections with peers. This can help younger participants tremendously with the
transition to the often-stressful high school years. SLOD is mentored by
James Lucchesi, The Depot’s Program Director, and facilitated by High School Student Leaders.
